Alongside our demolition expertise, Hunter Demolition also has wide experience in dismantling and façade retention.
Whether you wish to retain part of a building or completely redevelop it, we have the skills and experience to carry out this work. It is often a complex procedure involving full structural assessment of the building – and any building adjoining it, together with on-going liaison with third parties such as owners of neighbouring properties and organisations such as the Roads Department.
Our recent projects have included the dismantling of factory sheds for re-assembly elsewhere and the removal intact of a listed building’s roof, windows and key architectural features for storage and later re-use. A city centre project involved the demolition of a warehouse in a very confined space to leave the listed façade supported and protected by a façade retention system ready for re-development as apartments.
We also remove plant and equipment from industrial and heavy engineering properties for re-use.
