Removal of Sprayed Asbestos Coatings

We are experts in the specialist procedure of safe removal and disposal of sprayed asbestos coatings. In a recent project we removed and disposed of 400 square metres of sprayed limpet coating which covered the ceiling of the hexagonal-shaped St Teresa's church in Edinburgh.

Our operatives worked in a sealed enclosure on an access platform and began by injecting a mixture of water and surfactant into the sprayed limpet. Next, they stripped off the coating from the underlying concrete and packed the material into bags for safe disposal. Then, after they had cleaned off all remaining residue, the concrete was sealed with ET150 encapsulation paint.
