About Hunter Demolition
Hunter Demolition is based in Scotland’s central belt with offices on the outskirts of Glasgow and Edinburgh. The company has been providing demolition services for over 70 years since its inception as George Hunter (Demolishers) Ltd.
Heading up our management team of directors, surveyors, engineers and contract managers is Managing Director George M. Beattie. We also employ the services of health and safety and environmental consultants.
All our operatives and supervisors are trained in conjunction with the Construction Industry Training Board, the National Demolition Training Group or the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association. Our on-going training and development programme ensures that everyone is kept fully up-to-date with the latest demolition methods, health and safety legislation and best practice in the removal and disposal of asbestos and other hazardous materials.
We are members of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors and the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association. We are also registered with Constructionline and have CHAS accreditation. We have ISO 9001 certification and are currently working towards achievement of ISO 14001.
